This website is owned and operated by TARAksh Lawyers and Consultants, incorporated under the laws of India; and TARAksh Legal Consultants FZ LLC, incorporated under the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Collectively referred to as “TARAksh”, “we”, “us”, or “our”.
This privacy policy (Privacy Policy) governs the collection, use, disclosure, transfer, retention or otherwise processing of personal data or sensitive personal data by TARAksh.
This Privacy Policy applies to the collection and processing of personal data across multiple contexts, including but not limited to: (a) individuals accessing or interacting with our website or digital platforms; (b) clients, potential clients, and other professional contacts; (c) applicants, interns, retainers, consultants, and other personnel engaged with TARAksh; and (d) existing and former employees, staff, and associated individuals.

- Name, qualifications, an identification number for our personnel, work and home contact details (email address, phone numbers, physical address), language(s) spoken, gender, date of birth, Voter ID, passport number, PAN Card, marital status, dependents, emergency contact information, photograph, biometric information, medical records, and history, information relating to your physical, physiological or mental health, and passwords.
- Financial details (including bank accounts), salaries, retainership fees, and stipends.
- Career management information, designation, contractual information, system and application access data, and device-related information.
- Performance-related information: letters of application, resume/ CV, or other provided documents, performance, and development reviews.
- Data collected while using the Website or any mobile applications, including data collected automatically such as device ID, IP Address, web browser type, page views, operating system, timing and frequency of use of the Website or application, application/website navigation.
- Any other information that is collected pursuant to our contractual relations with service providers or clients while providing services or during onboarding.
- Aadhaar information: You may provide your Aadhaar details for identification purposes. Please note that it is not mandatory for you to do so, and you may give other identification documents such as a PAN card, passport, or driving license. However, we may require Aadhaar information from you to comply with the requirements of applicable law. We shall inform you when such collection is mandatory
In case you provide us any personal information through inbox messages or posts (as applicable) on our social media pages (e.g. on LinkedIn), to the extent that such messages and posts containing the personal information, are sent to our social media accounts, the personal information will be subject to this Privacy Policy and the applicable data protection laws. However, you hereby agree that given that our social media handles are on third party websites, we are not responsible for collection, use, processing and disclosure of any of your information by third parties (including the social media websites themselves, members of the public, etc.) by virtue of your accessing or providing information on such social media websites (whether or not to our social media page) or otherwise engaging in any other activities on such websites.
You do hereby, accept and consent to the collection, use, storage, processing and sharing or disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy and in accordance with the applicable data protection laws.
In the event any information collected from you contains information relating to third parties, you agree that you have collected such information in compliance with applicable law and are duly authorised to furnish it to us.
Our firm reserves the right to, at its discretion, modify this policy at any time. This policy, as modified from time to time will be available on our website. By further accessing our website or providing us with your information you will be deemed to have accepted all such modifications.

Our website may contains links to third parties’ websites in respect of which we do not have any rights. You hereby agree that we are not responsible for the collection, use, processing and disclosure of any information by virtue of your accessing such links and websites.
All personal data or sensitive personal data we collect will be retained only as long as it is necessary by TARAksh or is otherwise required under any other law for the time being in force.
Notwithstanding the above, you agree that we shall not be responsible for: (a) any unauthorised use, collection, processing or access to your personal information or breaches of security beyond our firm’s reasonable control; and (b) any liability arising in connection with disclosure by you of your personal information to third parties, whether by you accessing third party webpages or websites through our website, or in any other manner.
You can access your information at any time to review any information you have supplied. You may modify any information that is inaccurate during this review. You may also request the deletion of any information you have provided to us by email at the email address mentioned below. Please note, however, that this may affect our ability to process or enable communication with you and may lead to the discontinuation of our relationship for which this information was being used at our sole discretion. Any deletion request shall be only entertained subject to applicable data retention laws.
These Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the relevant TARAksh entity is incorporated. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, the courts of competent jurisdiction shall be those of the jurisdiction in which the relevant TARAksh entity, to which the access, use of the Website or services is attributable, is incorporated.
This Privacy Policy is subject to revisions at any time by TARAksh, and all changes are effective immediately upon being posted on the Website. It is your responsibility to review the Privacy Policy periodically for updates/changes. Any use of the Website after such revision will be deemed an acceptance of these changes by you.
